I was married for 11 yrs. It seemed towards the end the marriage he was trying to turn me into his mother. I do not know how many times I had said " I am not your mother" to him.

My husband said his first marriage he was married to someone like his mom and that's part of why it didn't work out that and she constantly cheated on him then he married someone who is the complete opposite of her and says hes happier then he has ever bin. I don't try to control his ever move lol so no not all guys want their wife to be like their mom

I think that's the case for some men, that's why we call them Momma's boys. A lot of men want someone different from their mom but the same in some ways.

NO. Quite the contrary, atleast in my case. I have been happily married for 11 years and am NOTHING like my husband's mum.
