I have not received any telemarketing phone calls through landline in almost seven months, but I did received unwanted solicited text message on my cell phone.

Now that you mention it, the last week has been surprisingly quiet, no telemarketer calls... and we're not on the no-call list. Hmm....

Your landlord is doing you a favor by giving you threatening notices. Being that you have been late with your rent more than twice, he has grounds to evict you without any further notice. When you have a lease you are expected and required to pay on time. Paying late is never acceptable except in extreme circumstances. Even at that, you should never be late on your rent more than once or twice for the duration of your lease. So if you consider the warnings and the threats to be distractions, consider that being much better than the distraction of spending the next 30 days trying to determine where you are going to live. Your money problems is not the concern of your landlord. He probably has mortgage that he has to pay on time. He has every right to demand that you do the same.

Man I haven't gotten telemarketing phone call in about a year! Used to be all the time

Maybe once every 3 or 4 months. I get the occasional call from the local newspaper trying to sell me a subscription. Nothing like it used to be.

the only ones i receive now are from my cell phone carrier trying to get me to upgrade.

not many now cause i rely heavily on my caller id. but the last one i got was female - she started ramblin as soon as i answered the phone - i said "what are you wearing" and she hung up.

All of mine are from collection agencies and my cable company.
