...a categorical, stereotyped, incendiary question like:
"Why is it that liberals are always either criticizing or asking for something?"

...and then report people for responding in a severe, sarcastic, or silly way?

Do you think that this is proof of how conservatives like to punish and/or censor others?

OK, I'm conservative. I answered a question only by asking if a republican congressman was democrat, because of the liberal stance he'd taken. then ask if I need say more. I got reported for it. I have no idea who reported it, since yahoo answers goes against our constitutional rights and doesn't allow us to face our accusers.

I highly doubt the actions you are speaking of are actually intelligent well informed conservatives, rather they are extremists that are a blight unto their own party.
Intelligent, well informed conservatives tend to be denounced as libs by the type you are speaking of, unless the rare occasion that they are the devisive breed that are motivated only by wealth rather than a well balanced political system.
By the way, there are kooks that do it on both sides.

Yes, and it's proof that they are using this board for dishonest purposes. Nearly every other question they ask is not really a question, it's a statement that they want impressionable, young Yahoo users to believe.

they are baiting you. I answered that question this way:

There is plenty to criticize. I ask for nothing from anyone. I only want a government that I can trust and that is looking out for the best interests of our country.

I think the question is fair. Liberals are always complaining. They are always looking to government to do everything for them.
