This is hard to answer because you leave too many cracking movies out, however if I am pushed it would have to be The Great Escape. Apart from the historical content which I wasn't aware of the first time I watched it, I just always wanted to be Steve McQueen on that motorbike. Cool or what.

A Cinderella Story, it's got one of my favourite celeb in it: Hilary Duff. Nice plot, turning the fairytale into a modern version of it. Also, from this film, i discovered one of my favourite music artist: Jesse McCartney. It just sticks in my head, i can remember every single event clearly. I like some of the quotes there quite romantic- I can be surrounded by a sea of people but still feel all alone then i think of you.

If all else perished, and he remained, I ought to nevertheless proceed to be;"- Catherine "My love for Heathcliff resembles the eternal rocks under: a source of little seen delight, yet mandatory. Nelly, i'm Heathcliff! he's often, continually in my ideas: no longer as a excitement, any further than i'm continually a excitement to myself, yet as my own being." *now i'm melting interior returned :o* :)

E.t. the Extraterrestrial. That movie is so sweet and great. It brings to mind days of childhood, days of innocence and friendship and love, long before I realized that the world was tough and had evil stuff like hatred and pain and mortgage payments. This is one of the very few movies that can make me cry everytime I watch it...

Its a wonderful life, because it shows that every life has value and how the central character impacts on everyone and everything around him.
A life affirming, heart warming film with one of the great perfomances of all times from Jimmy Stewart.

Star Wars because it was the first movie I actually saw in the movie theatre and my dad took me. He complained the whole time and actually fell asleep, but I enjoyed it so much and since it has become one of the biggest movies of all time, I am glad I was in on the craze at the beginning.

Mine is Dirty Dancing. I love the music, the sentiment and I would like to be 'nobody puts baby in the corner'. But, I would also like my husband to even resemble Patrick Swayze, but alas, that will never be. Oh well, in another life!
