King Solomon was reputed to be wise on many topics. Confucius had a lot of sayings, all of which made a lot of sense when you stop to think about it. I suppose you could say that the similarities were that they were both very learned men. It would be a toss-up to choose which was the wiser, but as far as presentation and creativity of mind, I'd say confucius had a slight edge.

Solomon was the wiser. His wisdom was granted him from God, whereas Confucius was wise in the world.
