Out of respect (Which americans should have) for our favorite pass time....we should honor it. Innocent until proven guilty, therefore he is the homerun king

My team is the Angels, and I don't see the Giants playing them anytime soon. (last time they played was in 2002, and that didn't go well for San Fran.)

But if it did happen, I'd give a cheer just because I saw history being made. I'm not cheering for Bonds specifically. Bonds hasn't been found guilty of anything yet, but he has been an azz to the media and everybody else.

I hate baseball but I would like to see Barry Bonds break probably the biggest all-time record in sports so yeah I would cheer even though I don't have a team.

I will cheer the accomplishment. It doesn't matter who. Overtaking the all time home run record is an amazing feat regardless of who does it, or what medical help he may or may not have had. It has only happened once in my fathers lifetime, in my lifetime, and never in my children's lifetimes. It is a feat worthy of being cheered and noted for that kind of significance.

Sure, everyone should raise a needle, er, I mean glass, to the chemically enhanced record.

If I were a Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox, Athletics fan, or any fan for that matter, I'd stand and respect "baseball" for history being changed once more. Nothing more, nothing less. That's class and respect for the players that have either retired or passed away to build our favorite sport up to where it is.

Nope! They don't play the Red Sox but even if they did.

Because until it is proven that he didn't ever use seroids, I can't cheer for him, he cheated and Hank Arron deserves to hold it. He earned it naturally.

Yes, very loud. Barry Bonds would have just broke the greatest record in sports, and just became the greatest player ever and I just seen it.

I believe he deserves a standing ovation for a great accomplishment no matter where he hits the homerun. All the other issues will work themselves out in due time.

Absolutely. Barry Bond is the greatest player of all time and he deserves everything he has.

Go Blue Jays!

Yes, because history was being made. I believe if he doesn't get it tonight or tomorrow in L A then he should get it in San Diego
