That's the "colon" button. If you press the button normally, you get a "semi-colon" (or ";"). To get a "colon", you need to hold the Shift button at the same time you press the "colon" button.

That is a colon. The other one on that key is a semicolon.

As noted before both the key and you have a colon. But you do not have a semicolon.
