The cost of Internet access varies depending on service provider.

I've been on connections which include:

* A flat £25 per month
* 3p per minute between 8am and 6pm and free between 6pm and 8am.
* £2 per month. The first 5MB free included. Then £1.60 per MB thereafter.

You'll have to contact your service provider to find out what they charge. If you use a dial up connection then you should contact your telephone provider to find out what the call charge is on top of that.

I think you are talking about some other country, you don't say which. In the United States most of us pay a flat fee per month and what time of day we are on the Internet does not matter.

This fee is for access to the Internet, the lines, etc. The actual Internet itself is free all around the world all of the time.

The internet actually costs nothing to use.

You may have to pay an ISP (Internet Service Provider) to enable connection to the internet, but use of the internet has no cost.

Happy computing
