Glad to hear it! Once they get to full size I would suggest you can call a local pet shop, tell them you have some good Mickey Mouse platys for sale and ask if you could bring some by for them to look over and see if they are interested. Don't expect much, and the offer will no doubt be in store credit, but that will help pay for a can of food :)

I would try to avoid selling to a pet store. Most of the workers there don't know what they are doing and you run a big risk of your fish getting sick or being sold to someone who doesn't know how to care for them.

Fish stores are a bit more reputable, but the same risks are still there. You may want to look into selling them yourself. That way you can keep them healthy, know they are going into the right tank, and get more money.

Most pet stores cannot buy from the public. Most won't even accept fish for free from the public. They have contracts with breeders that prevent it. Also, it is too much of a risk for the store if the fish from the public are sick. Fish stores are better at taking your babies off your hands, but I don't know of any that will actually pay you for them. Especially for a common species like the platy.

Best to sell them on your own.
Good luck

Congrats on the babies. I would recommend calling around to a few fish stores before you pack up the little critters. It has been my experience that the smaller, privately owned stores are more likely to buy your fish from you. As someone already mentioned, it will probably be for store credit. I think the only chain store that showed any interest to that sort of thing that I know of is Petco. But like I said, call ahead.

you additionally can prefer a severe counting on how tall the tank is and how great your hamster is. a 10 gallon tank stands out because of the fact the main suitable length for the hamster, the twenty gallon tank may be to super for a robo hamster.additionally the aspen bedding could be friendly. that's now no longer likely to kill the hamster.
