Considering the Democratic "machine" politics headed by Richard J. Daly in 1960 led to the illegal ballot stuffing in Cook County for JFK on the orders of Joseph Kennedy and Daly, why do Irish Americans not get blamed for the Cuban Missile Crisis, the South Vietnamese coup d'état that led to an assasination, Bill Clinton (JFK worshipper), the 2000 election debacle (Daly's son was Gore's campaign manager) and the Iraq War?

The Cuban Missile Crisis, obviously, was precipitated by an act of Soviet aggression.

Also, while the claims about Daly's ballot stuffing may hold some merit, they are just one incident among thousands of instances of election fraud in US history, right up to the present day (ever hear of Ken Blackwell?)

Finally, no one, except maybe some crazed revisionist history fanatics, really thinks that we would be better off now if Nixon had been elected in 1960, and, of course, JFK's performance in the missile crisis was spectacular. It could have easily led to nuclear war.

Overall, Kennedy (the one exception in a long line of WASP presidents, ranks pretty highly historically). BTW, when are WASP-Americans going to beg our forgiveness for the last 7 years?

Had the Cuban Missile Crisis led to nuclear war, you would, most likely, not be around to ask this time and space consuming trash.
