In and around Boston Harbor there are lots of historical sights !
From Rowes or Long Wharf you can take a boat ride out to Georges Island, which has Fort Warren a Civil War era fortification that served as Confederate Prison & a ww1 prison. Its a lovely place - and you can bbq and or bring a picnic basket.theres a small commissary store on island -drinks and stuff.Watch for the Lady in Black.Take the boat from there to Pemberton/Point Allerton in Hull and a short walk will take you to Ft. Revere,a Rev. War period fortification, and theres some small restaurant /snack bars /bars in the area.Leave there via that amazing transportation known as the Hull Bus, which will take you up the street to the Lifesaving museum, birth of The US Coast Guard.Loads of history in and around Boston.Take some time and do the Freedom Trail..If you need anything else, feel free to email me.

There is the New England Aquarium which is fantasic. There is also the Boston Tea Party museum and they do a reenactment of the throwing the tea into the harbor. It's pretty neat. There is also many of the museums nearby like the Children's museum which is great. There is also great seafood around there too
