Well I am a teacher, which very much caters to women's needs. I don't think that my problems (like holding pee for 5 hours) are quite the same as those of many other women.
However, I was surprised to learn that where I teach does not offer paid maternity leave. Most schools now do this. However, I work in a small district that and about 7 (that's 25% of the staff) either had children last year or announced they were pregnant....yes there were many jokes about "dont drink the water". So this would be a HUGE expence for the district. Being a small district they get many young teachers who have children, where as many bigger districts get more experenced, older teachers who are less likely to have children.
As for personal issues, its hard to put 40 women in a building and tell them all to get along. I have never personally had issues with anyone, but I have been there when others did and was there for the venting. I have found that a "oh really", "she did?", or "I see" keeps me out of a lot of the hoopla.

What problems can working women face in their work places? Sexism, racism, classism, homophobia; sexual harassment; in some isolated occupations, rape; and murder (the number one reason for death on the job for women in the US a few years ago, was murder, at work, by their current or ex-husband or boyfriend).
I've been sexually harassed at Fortune 500 companies, heard racist comments made to and about women I worked with, have seen women not promoted for not "looking" good enough (not dressing up enough), have found out co-workers were fired or not hired because someone thought they were gay. I've read quite a bit about the sexual harassment and rape that many women have suffered in the US military.

Many and people have listed them.
But most are common to both genders. But woman have few more then men. Special ones, like inequality in salary, type of work, sexual harassment, glass ceilings....... you can add a few if you want.
