Just outside the window are the rhododendrons at the end of their bloom, almost hiding my garbage can, then the green grass under the tall pine trees across a strange white sky. Not blue or just gray with clouds but so white because of the noon sun. The sky is white but the sun is on the pine needles under the pines trees. From time to time, I spot a squirrel chasing another one and the neighbor’s calico cat chasing the squirrels (who are pretty safe up the trees) and a chipmunk minding his own business, in a pretty fast way. And if I see no animals, then the hopping rabbit might show up. Then I see my neighbor’s wooden fence and the playground they built for their kids with trampoline, tree house and swings included.
I feel pretty lucky, looking thought my window (if Snow White would appear, I would not be surprised at all…).

Looking straight ahead from my PC, I can see the shrubs, the maple tree, the house across the street. Oh, look, there are some squirrels in the yard. I better take a few minutes and get their English Walnuts ready. They come to my front door and "beg" for nuts by scratching on the door and sitting on top of my mailbox. I often wonder who has who trained !!!

I see an amazing tree with purple flowers on it......... the sun is just beaming down through the crevices in the tree and shining in on me with little spurts of sun here and there that move as the branches move in the breeze. It's a beautiful site. It's why I love to sit here with my computer. But I'm with you... I'd trade it all for the beach.

Nothing much right now because it is dark. During the day there are rice fields as far as the eye can see with mountains in the background.

I see the downtown Winston-Salem. The building I'm in overlooks second street and out over the entire downtown area.

I can see my car in the parking lot and a highway behind it. Not too much happening outside of my window.
