I can assure "sweet pea", up there, that had Jesus been confronted with the issues of today, he wouldn't have opted for fabricating lies to put the lives of millions of innocent soldiers and civilians on the line to persue political positioning and to attain some heavy players' corporate nods.
Jesus was about the truth and about peace. "How do we know", you ask? What part of Jesus loving peace and being just is hard to ascertain?

ps to answerers who are bashing the asker, I think he's just making the point that bush is NOT very Christ like. His question must have made a point, because it's the only question that left the bushies speechless. No one came to compare the two in a good light. How could they? All we got out of them is a couple of thumbs ups for sweet pea!

You're comparing two things that literally have nothing in common.

Bush ran for the Presidency
Jesus had greatness thrust upon him being God's son and all.

That's only the tip of the iceberg.

This question has no merit

How can one know? Jesus has never been faced with the problems of today's world. So while President Bush hopes he is doing the right thing one cannot be sure.
