i need one that is free..not just the scan but everything else too..

Get these 3 FREE softwares! Download, Install, update then restart in safe mode (press F8 while restarting to get in to safe mode) then run all 3 of them!

can i know what kind of antivirus that you're using currently...below is the steps precaution to take on how to tackle your problem...

1. re-srat your PC
2.press F8 button to choose your preference method to start your Windows...i.e choose Start Computer in Safe Mode...enable networking
3.enter administrator account
4.uninstall your current antivirus...
5. then try to go any free resources antivirus software...i.e www.avast.com...download the free edition Avast which is good FREE for HOME use....
6. Try to install Avast and update the Avast program...
7. In Avast you can have an option to scan your PC during boot time...It's called scheduled boot time scan....
8. then your PC will asked to be restart by Avast...
9. Avast should see the virus...if not
10. Try to restart the PC,..enter the Safe Mode....enable networking
11. Download Ad-aware SE.....from download.com, install n update it!
12. Scan your PC use full scan not smart scan features after your ad-aware is updated....
13.Finally use CCLEANER to clean your registry or to fix if your registry has been broken.
14. Its should be ok my dear...

Udate your antivirus and scan your coputer in safe mode. After you remove virus, I recommend you use firefox browser. It is safer than IE. It can prevent viruses such as worm,trojan and etc. The newest official edition of firefox can be downloaded from http://www.mollzia.com
