It is so annoying how everyone just puts him down like he's the bad person! I know you guys probably watch the show and base your opinions on that but has anyone ever read his bio? And whoever said that he doesn't have his medical license is retarded because he studied 12 years for it (and DID get it), he just doesn't have some stupid certificate (which he plans to get) from the medical board or something stupid like that which he doesn't even need to be legally performing plastic surgery! Also for anyone who said he's a bad surgeon, he's NEVER been sued for malpractice and DOESN'T suck up to patients to get jobs because if he had to do that, he wouldn't donate so much time helping poor people out and repairing cleft palets FOR FREE for impoverished people. He DID get less hours now to spend more time with the family! (how can u say he doesn't care?) For those who think he's creepy, don't forget he's FOREIGN, they act differently in Brazil probably like every other place in the world!

I agree with you I love him. I think all the extra stuff he does for people is great! Its very easy for someone sitting at home to judge so they really do need to do there homework before putting someone down!

I think Dr. Rey is great, and agree he does a lot of good charity work. I don't know why I find plastic surgery so fascinating. However, I do get tired of so much focus on his martial arts. If he hurt his hands breaking boards, then where would he be? He takes too many chances. I also get tired of Haley whining all the time about what she wants. She is too self centered. I like all the Dr's on that show. Besides Dr. Rey, Dr. Li is my favorite.

i agree with you for the most part. dr. rey is a pretty cool guy. a bit self-absorbed, but i think he has a good heart. i'm sick & tired of his whiney anorexic wife complaining about how she has to cope with having a rich hubby who takes care of her every needs, who is such a good provider that she has the option of staying at home or taking up a hobby. if my hubby had me in a home & lifestyle like that, i would not be whining & complaining all the time. i would be supporting him to the FULLEST. she gets on my nerves waaay more than dr. rey.

I don't really like him because he appears so self-centered. I used to think his wife was a big whiner, but all she wants is for her man to come home and have some family time.
I think all he cares about is martial arts and people thinking he's Mr. Wonderful. He could care less what his wife or kids think.
