Wherever yours are, they're probably having a party with mine! I have to keep buying the bl**dy things because there are never any in my house.

BTW, why is it also, that when you tip the washing up bowl out (if you use a washing up bowl) at the end of doing the dishes, no matter how carefully you check that there's nothing left in it, by the time the water is all out there will be a teaspoon in the bowl? Maybe that's what happens to them, they shrink and go down the plughole. Either that, or it is the Borrowers, if my house is anything to go by, they also like pens, pegs, kirby grips and hair clips.

I was PA in a company once that had that problem - never any teaspoons - must be some sort of Bemuda Triangle for Cutlery

seriously, under the sofa. I don't know how but they accumulate there and have little cutlery parties. I went under there looking for a library book and found five teaspoons.

hehe all mine went missing until i went to my son's playschool and told them, they then came out with a huge jar full of teaspoons and sure enough, my whole life's supply of teaspoons were there! I realised i packed him a yogurt in his lunch-box every week and he never came back with any teaspoons! lol

I blame the 'borrowers', you know those tiny people that live under the floorboards that only come out at night ,and borrow useful stuff, like one sock, car keys and spoons.

They're probably partying with all the socks that went to the laundry room and never came back. :-)
