A person claims that my friend is in the hospital there and needs $3000.00 for surgery. Prior to this event he claims that he could not pay his hotel bill of $2000.00.

Ignore it. It is a Nigerian scam. Don't send him any reply. Don't lose your money.

An obvious scam. And a very old one on top of it. So old it's one of the classics.
I don't recall a hospital in Ikeja of that name and even if there were, it would still be a scam.
Search the net for "419" scams.

okay sir this is an obvious scam ask yourself which friend of mine went to Nigeria that solves it do not lose your money to scams.
