okay, the thing with name brand clothing
you know.. hollister? aabercrombie? american eagle? aeropostale? juicy coture?.. all of them and many more..
is that the 'popular kids' wear them,
the 'in crowd' wears all of those clothing brands
and i'd trust me on this one, i go to highschool..
i personally think it is stupid&immature to judge someone on the clothes that they are wearing! i wear what i like and what i feel comfortable in! i mean, i like american eagle&hollister&aeropostale&abercrombie&juicy coture , so naturally i wear them!
but i do wear wal*mart and target clothes to. i buy many of my clothes from kohl's also.
there is nothing wrong with the clothes that are cheaper. you can buy more that way! lol
i hope i helped you to understand
kids are so cruel sometimes

The thing we don't like about Wal-mart is that all there clothes are not in style and they always shrink, or fall apart! I don't really like target clothes either, but I love there shoes and purses! And trust me, Wal-mart does not have the cheapest clothes, I go to stores that are expensive but have like a 50% off sale so its actully cheaper than wal-mart! Oh yeah I don't do anything around the house except wash the dishes which is manditory!

I'm 30 and when I was in school, even elementary, labels and brands were important. Just the way it is in our shallow society. Target, though sells really cute clothes, so I don't think that's a punishment. Walmart is for sure. Cheaply made and falls apart. Better to spend a couple more bucks then having to buy all over again in a month because the clothes shrunk or started falling apart.

My policy- She has a certain budget for back to school clothes. She can spend that at whatever store she chooses. For birthdays, holidays, etc. she gets gift certificates for her favorite stores. She is expected to pay at least part of any other clothes she wants/needs. I will pay a certain amount, if she wants it to be "name brand", she has to pony up some cash. She does work for my mother and gets paid for it and she gets an allowance. I have taught her that nobody really pays attention to the brand name of jeans so she is content with her jeans coming from any ole store as long as she likes them. She is 12. if she wants a $30 tshirt, she is gonna help pay for it. ADD: My 5 year old and 4 month old could care less where their clothes come from.

First off, I have to clean my room and whole house by myself. If I do it wrong or they dont like it, I have to do it again. But yes, I do get name brand clothes. But I also shop at Target, which is one of my favorite stores because it has everything. I dont think there is nothing wrong with cheap clothes, but they sometimes dont last as long (the material). I think wearing name brand clothing is ok, as long as you dont brand it all over your self and think that you are better than everyone else.

Well I personally find that in being a teen (me), name brands make you cool. The only shops that I shop at are Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister. Yes they are MUCH more expensive, but for me the fit is very good. Wal-Mart clothes dont fit me because their too big. Abercrombie on the other hand fits perfectly. It also turns into a matter of who's rich and who's not. In our school, if your not wearing expensice preppy clothes, your made fun of. The type of clothes people wear, for me, defines who they are. When I wear Abercrombie, people automatically assume that im rich and preppy. I shop at AnF because it makes me better than everyone else.

That was wrong of the lady 2 do that over the radio. It was completely unneccessary. Most teens have brand names not cuz they like it but cuz they wanna impress other ppl. Their peers and the "populars". They've got the money and their gonna waste it on a bunch of clothes. Its kinda sad what the world has come 2.
Can u answer my question plz?? :)

in our private school ve still got to wear uniforms! but girls buy their purses from gucci and guess and stuff, they wear 30$ below-knee socks, they wear designer labeled white shirts. so does boys. most of them has lots pairs of expensive shoes, labeled shirts and sweaters. needless to say, labeled clothes are more stylish and showy.
it s all about wearing the style. nobody dislikes a girl who wears cheap but very chic. buying cheap is not a crime! being stylish or not-thats the whole thing that counts!
