To what lengths will you stoop to save money? Re-use dental floss, for instance? I'm asking this am I'm scooping up the grains of sugar that fell from the packet back into the bowl!

I'm not real stingy but I do try to think economically. Like, turn of lights that are not in use. Recycle when I can. Most of my recyclable stuff I reuse myself. Like the plastic butter bowls and plastic water bottles. There is nothing wrong with trying to save a dollar or two here or there. These are very hard times now. Anywho!!!

Well I'm a great believer in taking clothes back to shops for a refund after I've worn them a few times! I carefully replace the tags and give the clothes a wash and iron first.(you have to return them withinn 28 days and keep ur receipt).I was speaking to a woman once who was so stingy she would only half use tins of paint then fill them up with sand so they felt full and get a refund on them. Her house was well decorated and she never spent a penny!

Re-use dental floss - nope I haven't done that (yet) but I reuse plastic ziplock bags and plastic water bottles. I snag napkins and other stuff from fast food joints and keep them for the times I run out of bottled ketchup and whatnot.
I have been seen reusing brown paper bags for lunches, too.
I save even a little bit of leftover food in the fridge and make lunches for me and my honey.

Not that stingy! That is disgusting to reuse dental floss! But I do squeeze the last bit of toothpaste, soap, etc.

I do NOT reuse floss....I buy those little flosser things.

I'm semi stingy. I use toilet paper instead of kleenex to blow my nose.

My kids have a lot of clothes, but I buy about 95% of everything on clearance.

I wouldn't call my self stingy like i probably wouldn't do that, but I'm tight with money, unless i get corrupted by wall-mart or some store that has every thing i want, then ill waist it all, then get angry at myself for doing so. I talk myself into doing things that i dont want to do, like waisting money.

but if you consider trying to wash those styrofoam plates and cups to save money then maybe.
