Joanna Lumley says that when we die, all the dogs we ever owned, will come running to greet us. Could you believe this?

I do believe it. I'm a paranormal investigator and I have recorded (audio) of spirits interacting with dogs. ITS GREAT, I can't wait to see mine again.

I got a dog from childhood. A Tri Colour Border Collie. We lived in a farming community back in the sixties. She was a great herder.
Today I have another Border Collie and she too is Tri Coloured. She turned nine years old on Saturday last.
I don't believe Miss Lumley is correct in what she says. I believe that when we die and when we enter God's kingdom our memories will go with us. So ..I believe that in twenty two million years from now; I will still remember that dog in the country. I will still remember the pups she had, and the day she herded my kid brother back home, whether he wanted to go or not. I believe that in those days of the future millions upon millions of years from now I will still remember the Border Collie I have now. The liver spotted Dalmatian my wife and I had, and the Pointer we have today. These animals are the greatest gift of animals God could have given us. I believe that they are a gift from God. And damn the cruel ones who hurt and bring unnecessary pain on the Innocent creatures.
They are the most forgiving animals I know of. Faithful and loving.
I would like to be made a liar in this aspect of memory versus presence, but then we don't know for sure do we? I would like to see those dogs again in the afterlife, I just don't believe it will happen. I don't believe we will ever forget them though.

I miss all my pets, especially a street dog named "Cabalache", I was perhaps 6 and I still remember him. That was my last dog, until I was older.

Twelve years ago I adopted another street dog, his name was "Pluto". Next day, when I went to the vet, the doctor told me, he had distemper. The poor boy just lived with me one month, but it is amazing the bond we developed. I cried him for a whole year, until I adopted other two abandoned street dogs, "Pandora" and "Laika".
They were already older when they came home, so today they are having old age problems. They don't enjoy going for walks anymore, their eyes are not good and one is completely deaf. I know they will go soon, I can't even imagine that. I love them as if they were my daughters.

I know they will be missed when that happens.

I only liked one dog while we were growing up, and once in a great while, I do miss him. What a lovely idea, they'll come running to greet us! Too bad I don't believe in an afterlife..lol

This is weird that you ask this question today. I was thinking on the way to work this morning of my dog, Heidi, who died 20+ years ago. I miss her as much now as I did when she passed away.

I miss every one of my dogs. If they all run to greet me when I die, then I will have a joyous death.
