Considering in the last six years Bush has:
1.Gotten us bogged down in someone else's civil war
2. stretched our military so thin that we are completely vulnerable at home.
3. Misused the Patriot Act to spy on innocent Americans, not once, but several times
4. Sent our national debt into the trillions.
5. Destroyed every alliance we had in the world.
6. Ignored the will of the American people

What exactly is it that you guys think liberals could do worse?

I do not find it comical...I find it very sad that a percentage of the population finds it necessary to belittle and insult their fellow Americans for their point of view.

Both comical and sad at the same time. Apparently there are more conservatives here than in the general public. Some of the users get kicked off and keep coming back. How long has mrfeelsgood been around--still level one and no best answers. There are a lot of the conservatives that are just using this forum to stir up hatred. I think it's sad that they never consider an issue themselves independently, but just parrot O'Reilly or Limbaugh without thought. It's sad they use this to ask very ridiculous questions. It's said they think every Democrat and Republican think exactly alike on every issue. It's sad they are so out of touch with their fellow Americans. It's said they are still supporting issues the President himself has rejected. It's particularly sad they are so anxious to send someone else's child to Iraq. It's sad they do no research and can't even tell us the difference between a Sunni and a Shiite. It's sad they think we can solve the problems in Iraq that are nothing more than a 1300 year old religious dispute. It's sad they don't realize Iraq will be chaotic whether we leave or stay. It's sad they don't realize our allies (the Saudis) are supporting one side and our "enemy" Iran is supporting the other. It's sad they ignore Africa. It's sad they support dictatorial regimes like Saudia Arabia without any thought or analysis.

1. Its exactly what Clinton did in Bosnia. Still got troops there.
2. Why do we need that much military here? If we did, then we should counter attack and take the fight to them. Wait, we already are.
3. Gee, 275 million people and the gov messed up on a couple. Beats being on death row by accident. States mess up all the time.
4. Wait till Universal Health Care hits.
5. EVERY alliance? Hadn't realize every other country in the whole world hated us. Wow.
6. What is the will of the American people? It sure isn't an ABC poll. How much of the American people does it take to represent the will?
25%?
40%?
51%?
80%?
110%?
Its what ever Hillary declares it to be.

What Liberals can do worse:
Run the Government.
Run health care.
Fight terrorism.
Lead the military.
Run foreign policy in the middle east. (Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton)
Lower taxes.
Control government spending.

The anti-liberal questions are hillarious. I answered a pro-bush rant earlier today but the person ended up erasing her own question. It went something like "why are people anti-bush, you should all be thankful that he isn't decapitating the entire US population". She called people who didn't support bush "stupid followers". I got a kick out of it, but the sad thing is, the person was serious.

I find extremist "anti" questions from both sides to be comical--in a pathetic, frustrating way. But I agree with you on not being sure how a liberal could do worse. To hear some talk, they (the extremists, anyway) seem to think that if a Democrat is elected, the sky will split and blood will rain from the heavens.

Liberalism is Communism. Just read the Karl Marx Manifesto, and you will see that the beliefs that liberals have are the same ideas that liberals have....
It doesnt matter that we destroyed every alliance we had, untrue, but it doesnt matter, because we the US support most of them anyways, and if there is no alliance there, then there is aid money we are abble to save......
The patriot act is set forth to spy on americans, without a warrant, but only to those who have been investigated for acts of terrorism, not just innocent americans.
and the will of the american people, dont you remember 9/12?
yes 9/12, the day after the attacks, the US as a whole rallied against terrorism, and took action, I remember the country as a whole putting up flags, and getting together to fight terrorism, but since the war has taken so long, liberals want to put an end to the war, because they feel its illegal.....but they were all in support of it a few years ago.....

A lot of these questions are great examples of how mean, narrow minded, and just plain stupid the Neocon mind can be. When I see the same phrases used in different posts, I start wondering which hate radio celeb uses it. Most neocons are parrots with no original thoughts of their own.

Liberals have their connections as well. They're no better than the conservatives - only different.

Stop watching the mass media and find independent sources for information. The world has no need for 24 hour "news" stations - they only wind up filling the time with meaningless junk, non-issues, propaganda and OPINION.

It's a sad day in America when the citizens can be identified politically though the means which they get their information. It's a sad day when the citizens can't discern what the truth is.

Two apples, same tree.

3. Prove it. I admit it would be very easy to do, but there is no proof either way.
6. Yet Bush got reelected by a landslide in 2004?

As a liberal, you annoy me just as much as they do. Dont make claims you cant backup, it just makes it easier for the crazy claims against libs to get supported.

_____

SWT: You either need to take your own advice and read the Communist Manifesto, or you need to look closer at liberalism. They are very different. Go read-then form your own opinion instead of spouting off what someone tells you.

Justmoveon.org u loser has it nailed! But they forgot to mention that unemployment is at historic lows and the tax revenue to the federal government is at record highs. The deficit is being whittled down much quicker than anyone expected. And the Dow has broken records several times in the last couple of months. But when you talk to a liberal, all is gloom and doom! How can these people get up in the morning knowing they will be so unhappy all day because Bush is in the White House?

I find ignorance to be sad. And for the first person who answered this question: accepting differences doesn't mean we can't disagree.

That's what I find comical. Any time I disagree with something a conservative says, they tell me I'm being "intolerant." Because apparently, to them, "tolerance" means "spineless agreement."
