I want to spend the weekend in there and most of the prices I have seen on the internet for a night are over 100 $.
Thanks.

Head over to http://www.resideo.com/ca/ontario/ottawa and click the "Check Availability" button. Choose your dates, submit the form, then sort the results by price -- that'll put the cheapest places first.

You can then read about each hotel, view pics, book online, etc.

Good luck!

I'm actually from Ottawa, and used to be travel agent!!

If you don't mind being outside of downtown you can get a really good price but if you want something nice check Gatineau, Hull QC, which is 5 minutes drive from downtown Ottawa, and you would be 2 minute from the casino.

If your part of an association like CAA/AAA you also get discount from 10-20% off
I'll recommend the website below

Hope this helps!
Enjoy!

you'll find that any decent spot is on or over 100.
that being said, here are some cheap (although sometimes questionable) spots you can check out:

Byward Blue Inn: http://www.bywardblueinn.com/
A rose on the Colonel By http://www.rosebandb.com/
Econo Lodge http://www.choicehotels.ca/cn630
Webbs (West End): http://www.webbsmotel.com/
Cardinal Suites (West end) http://www.cardinalsuites.com/rates/rates.htm

personally I'd bite the bullet and pay 120-130 for a decent spot/location.

enjoy your stay!

How about trying to stay in a University or College residence campus. They are inexpensive and cost alot less than B&B.
