Unfortunately, news from Zimbabwe has been sporadic. Over the last 30 days, I have seen rate quotes of anywhere from Z$120,000 to Z$400,000 to US$1, with Z$185,000 being the rate most mentioned on the parallel market.

Today, 1 August 2007, Zimbabwe introduced a Z$200,000 bearer check into circulation. That would be about US$1.10
