I've heard that it generally conservative, lots of evangelicals, and kind of truck-driving redneck sort of city. Is that true?

I used to live near there and it wasn't bad in those days. However it does seem to have picked up a veneer of whackos since then.

I bet it still has the same terrible winter weather though.

I live in a Denver suburb and since I can't afford to live in the mountains, I think it's a nice place to live. I can get to the foothills in about half an hour and to the mountains in about an hour or more, depending on where I'm going. I wouldn't call it a redneck sort of city-no.

The only thing I know about Denver Colorado is there is a hobby shop there I want to check out.

Liberal headquarters of the mountain range. Tree huggers and hand holding animal lovers. All the good people moved out years ago

I love the Museum of Natural History...the fine art museum, the Mint, and the zoo.
