Millions of Hindus suffered and are suffering due to his pathetic wimpy policies. He did more harm than good. He was the biggest traitor to his religion.

Those Indians who are capable of ascertaining the truth from history, rather than allowing the marxists to brainwash them will know very well of the damage that he has done to the Hindu civilisation.

The purpose of partition was so that Hindus and Muslims can acquire 2 different countries for themselves. It was good for the Muslims, because they acquired 2 new countries. What did we hindus get out of it??? Gandhi encouraged the Muslims to stay in India, resulting in Hindus to be at a complete loss. Do you know what a hard time Indian Muslims give us? Despite the fact that partition was so that India can become a Muslim free country, India has the world's second largest Muslim population (even though they are just 12% of the population). Please explain to me, what did we Hindus acquire????

Not only did we lose thousands of acres of land (which belonged to us for thousands upon thousands of years) but we still got lumbered with the Muslim rubbish.

Dear Ritu, don't compare Gandhi to Christ and Buddha because it is a deep insult to Christ when you say that gay man was like Christ and Buddha. Gandhi was a gay and thus he was from Satan and NOT from God.

Very true.Partition caused immence sufferings to people of India and the scars are still to be seen. Gandhi was a Congress -man and since Congress party wanted to come into absolute power after independance it agreed to the partition of the country . Had the partition not taken place Congress would have had to share power with Muslim League and others . That was not acceptable to Gandhi or Nehru, hence the partition was done resulting in death and sufferings to millions of Hindus Sikhs and Muslims.

History is there for all of us to see , Congress ruled or rather misruled the country after independance for more than half the century and perpetuated the culture of psychopfancy and family rule. The party harvested votes in the name of Gandhi and the family of the Nehrus enjoyed the power. For this they had to build up the picture of Gandhi as the saviour . All through the period , an image of the great country was depicted as if there was no other person who fought for the liberation of the motherland.

The fact that millioms of killings took place , thousands of mothers and sisters were dishonoured following the patrition should have been forseen before taking the decision . All those who signed the instrument of partition have to be held responsible for the holocast and tried for crimes against innocent people for political selfishness.

But the Congress party continued to build up the image of Gandhi as the father of the nation , misleading and befooling the people with the sole aim of perpetuating power in their hands ,which they successfuly did. Had Gandhi not been there and Netaji Subash Chander Bose was to take part in the talks ,I am sure the history of the subcontinent would have been different . There is no doubt that Gandhi was a total failure.

Now sixty years have passed and continuous ranting and picturisation of Gandhi as the saviour has got etched on the Indian psyche. History has been successfuly coloured resulting in some fools equating him with Christ and Buddha.
God save the country.

First things first .. No man who is revered by so many can be a utter faliure and disgrace. Cause if he is what you say he is than all the millions are utter fools to believe in him.
Yes i agree that he made some mistakes but no one says that he was a god , he himself never claimed the same, and human beings make mistakes and learn from it.
As for your saying his being responsible for the partition, its historically proven that Gandhi Ji only agreed to partition only after Mr. Nehru refused to give away the prime ministership of India to Mr. Jinnah.
Yes there were a certain cases where he blindly supported the muslims against the hindus, but i ask you then did he did this for some motive of his own. What did he gain from it other than a bullet, and even then the last words uttered by him were "Hey Ram" .. a hindu god.
I thus tell you .. broaden your scope, just cause the person supported muslims more during the partition period (not that he did not support Hindus atall) make him a complete faliure.

Even Hindu God Respect each other Lord Shivji, respect Lord Rama, Lord Rama never even called Ravan (pandit) as disgrace, and gay, Pl don’t pretend to be Hindu. Send your MOTHER TO INDIA, we all will teach her about Hinduism and GANDHISM, SO never ever a mother feel disgrace for a son like you.
Hans Raja Layman, let me tell you something which your mother and grandmother never told you, Many terrorist respect and love bombers of 9, 11 and Bombay bomb blast, but should the Indian ask for forgiveness from different government for them, what should Gandhi Ji say if a Hindu or any Indian will kill any British that killing of British was right.
British came as east India company to do business of spice etc with India, and became our rulers do you know why because India was divided between rich and influential educated (prince, king, zamindar, Pandit,) which were hardly 5% to 10%, and on the other hand 90 % of Indian were not even aware that they were part of India. They just thought themselves to be part of SOME VILLAGE, or SOME COMMUNITY, or ignorant Indians thought of themselves, as Hindu or Muslim etc, never ever they had the feeling that the are the citizen of India or Hindustan was in there heart or brain,
1) Indian Nation Congress, first political party, of Gulam Hindustan, leaders like moti lal Nehru, Jawaharlal Nehru, Patel,
were educated, political leader, they did not have any hold on common man that is 90% poor uneducated Indian.
Because of Gandhi Ji, 100 % Indians rich poor educated uneducated, so called different cast people got united, and aware that there common enemy is Bruisers.
Every educated parent and grandparent know the history of Ghulam Hindustan and also Gandhi Jig, these people taught there grand children son daughter all this,
Pl sends your Mother and Grand Mother to India, as you know history and Gandhi and Hinduism from London school not from your mother and grandmother.

Do You Know why Kashmir ,hyderabad and various other erstwhile Muslim Princly states are with India. it is because India is not a Hindu country. India is INDIA because of him. If most of people start thinking like you Nathuram Godse will become father of Nation. Thankfully Most Indians are sane today as they were before and followed Gandhi.

Gandhi was Great soul. Nehru was visionary, Jinnah was un doubtedly secular and great man. Congress , BJp Muslim League, shiv Sena all are secular parties Then why the FXXXs they were shy to provide justice to hindus, Why didn’t they ever tried to compensate lossess of hindus. In short why did not they provide justice to hindus.
( U may consider any meaning of hindu based on your feelings)
We could have considered Gandhi a real Mahatma had he compensated the sufferers ofpartitionthen financing and streengthening Pakistan to accelerate genocide of hindus

No I do not think he was a complete failure at all. We cannot do everything for the good of mankind, but we can do our bit, just like Gandhi did. Gandhi was only human, and all humans have flaws. If someone really close to you (preferably a family member) made a slight mistake, would you stop admiring them? If you gave something for a good cause, I’d admire you too, even if you did a little bit.

If you are referring to his personal life, then I have no interest in that. But he was the one who gave India independence, and that is what I admire him for. And also, take note of the amount of violence involved in that. There may be only a few cases, but Gandhi discouraged it.

Any one is free to either revere or not revere Gandhi. But to call him a disgrace or failure would not only amount to disrespecting a great soul of India but would mean adhering to Nathuram Godsey school of thought.Any one who makes such an observation actually betrays his lack of knowledge and understanding of modern Indian history. The half naked fakir as he is referred to by a section of Englishmen was the beacon light of our freedom struggle in more senses than one. Without him the country would perhaps have remained enslaved for another century or so. It is true Gandhiji could not prevent India's partition. But that was not his responsibility alone.

Please do not offense, but i think that rationaments like you done after question, represent an western or manipulated opinion. I am shore that you have good intentions, but belive me , i will tell you in western language:
1. Gandhi is a symbol of India, respected in all world,so India's image need him. "Alive" and Hero.
2. he was not a trador because he never abandonate his religion, and Veda say that the way for find TRUTH are diverse. So Hinduism is the first religion which can accept peace whith the others.
3. The problem of peoples of India was not why muslim belive in Allah, but why muslim destroyed 7000 hindu temples, but why england continue to steel india etc...
4.Gandhi was diplomat so he made choices by the rulle of the game ,so he has to make some compromisse.
5.he was not a thief...look at his life...why ?
6.Some interes groups by inside India need to discreditate the image of Gandhi...why do you think?
7....please respect the same rationament...you will see that any problem can be transformed in one good or one better.
Look at the eye of Gandhi, search in your soul! ...It can't be manipulated!!!
Thank you for read, and please don't be mad on me for that opinion...nothing personal :)

Certainly utter failure. I cannot for sure say that he was a disgrace.

Indians like someone to be projected as leader and blindly they will follow the footseps. See the way Karunanidhi or Ambedkar get support. Indians are always fit to be ruled and will only follow as what is told. Gandhi utilised every weakness of indians and mastered the art of public speaking. He became a hero surrounded by girls

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Barister-at-law from Rajkot, Sourashtra (Gujarat Stae), has beeen fondly referred to as"Babuji".At a time when the British Imperialism was at its zenith and the Britisher took pride in saying that the sun would never set on the extensive British Empire! In India the educated class and professionals wanted to cooperate with the British raj and secure swaraj by degrees. On the other hand the extremists like Tilak and others wanted to drive the British away by force. The British quelled all rebellion by extra force.
Mahatma Gandhi was the unique leader who resorted to passive resistance and baffled the British Raj.
A Gujrati wearing a big turban and fully cloathed person, gave up extra clothing and was seen in khadi dhoti and a chadar to identify himself with the poor Indian peasant!
His movement of "non cooperation" with the rulers caused great loss of face and fortune for the British !He proved to the Imperialist that the average Indian is ready to do what he wanted them to do
.British excesses were met by Indians exesses. Gandhiji intervened by resorting to hunger strike. The millions of activists pledged to keep peace. He wanted poorna swaraj. But the communal carnage let loose after 14th August,1946, baffled one and all.The British found it properto leave us in lurch and run away.Hence,India was partitioned and Pakistan created out of it (on 14th August 1947).
Gandhiji was a great champion. No one in his proper senses would say that he was a 'Failure' and 'a complete utter disgrace'!
Reading history any reader could do. but reading between the lines and drawing the right inference is not everybody's meat.
