If we had free elections, it wouldn't be impossible for an independent candidate to get on the ballot in all 50 states. Unfortunately, both of our major parties are already bought and paid for.

Leaders like Ron Paul don't come around very often. It's a shame America is to busy blindly following the mainstream to realize it.

I recommend that the better decrease for contributions be accomplished away with, and that the optimal payouts in retirement nonetheless stay as they are, adjusted for inflation. Social protection isn't a "provide away" application yet one that all of us make contributions to love a savings plan, and may well be secure against different makes use of by using the government. Do you compromise or disagree and why? in case you're so worrying approximately it then why do no longer you; first positioned it back into the indoors maximum sector and make to have been no can take out money from it for their own activity, 2nd pay back each and every penny you have borrowed from the two Social protection and Medicare, third take the unlawful immigrants off of it and people who come over right here yet never paid a penny to it, and finally have it the comparable for each individual; in different words government officers are to take part in it and in the event that they choose something extra they do it on their own without the tax payers investment it?yet, the economic stytem feeding the imbalances had never been rather replaced. They, a team of scholars, suggested that each and all people expenditures of activity could be 3% or much less for each individual to alter into wealthy if wanted (that could desire to be actual additionally to taces). the main suitable economic subject could be, they reported, while there have been no expenditures of activity. Why no longer attempt this answer? the wealthy could nonetheless be wealthy. My question is: while soial protection will become a topic related to federal bills, why no longer paintings with a balanced or benefit funds and spend no extra beneficial than is attainable in, as any relatives has to try for? Why no longer ban all loobying presents so as to get regulations that serve the rustic? God bless united statesa..

You can always choose to write in ANY individual as your choice.
The reality is, that would be throwing away your vote.
You can just KNOW the winner Will be someone who was "bought".
As regards your support for Ron Paul? He wouldn't be my first choice.
Among those who have thus far tossed their hat into the ring, I am leaning towards the views of Huckabee., Gov. of Arkansas.
I always support those who believe in the Constitution and the principles of our founding fathers. Those who shun Socialist / Marxist theories.
What I don't like about Huckabee is his courting of the religious right, but that is preferable to those who demonstrate a tendency to give hypocritical lip-service to religious views, then support efforts to deny children the pleasures of celebrating holidays in public places because of their religious connotations.

Our system of laws sets up a free election system, but in a practical sense it takes a lot of money and influence in order to run for a national office, especially the presidency.

This is a big issue and one of huge importance. The amount of money that gets thrown around in these elections precludes anyone who doesn't have the backing of a large political machine from running for President, and I don't believe that was the way it was meant to be.
