yes they did. raw tomato is one.... I absolutely hate it now. I like it cooked but not raw. Olives are also one thing I'm not very fond of.

My Mom tried to get me to eat pizza as a kid, I hated tomatoes for a while..but we went out to eat..you guessed it, I lost it all over the table, my dad and the waiter...never again was I forced to "try" something that I said no to!
I think that it taught me that I could have everything my own way if I just threatened to throw up..not a good thing!

My mum never did but my bossy cousin tried to make me eat pumpkin & it never worked!!
till i was mature & made up my own mind, but i was fussy as a kid & eat all the veges now, a lot of kids like veges raw (the ones that can be eaten raw that is)
i used to say to my fussy son just eat a little bit of each vege & you can have dessert & it did the trick never forced any food on my kids

My brothers and I were never forced to eat food.
We were really poor - dads wages were like, terrible - we ate anything that was put in front of us, anything.
We came home from school for lunch which would probably be crisp sandwiches and most probably the same for tea.
Times were tough, but we were never forced to eat anything, we didn`t need forcing.

Well the toast was wrapped in the blazer and dumped on the way to school. Put the veg onto my younger sister and brothers plate. Don't think to this day could I eat home made rice pudding

I wasn't a fussy eater when I was younger. It's only really cooked fruits I can't stand (like in a desert) or lumps in yoghurt, and raisins - apart from these I'd eat most things.

Not really, if I wasn't going to eat it there's no point forcing me but most of the food they gave me I liked so...

No,it's probably the only thing I wasn't forced to do.I ate most of my meals in my bedroom, the other meals I went without (punishment from dad )
My mum always came up to take my plate down,so my dad never got to see what I'd eaten, and my mum would never force me to do anything.
