I just saw the movie "the prestige" last night and I LOVED it!!! It was great! What did you think about it?

I really enjoyed it. Great cast, and a great story. I caught on to the "twist" pretty early though.

I agree, one of the best movies of this past year. A very interesting, thought provoking movie.
I am still arguing with other people that I have seen it with as to whether Christian Bale's charactor cloned himself via Tesla's machine and chose to be humane and that both would take turns living the "real" life and the other one being the assistant, or if the assistant was a twin brother.
My theory is the former, not the latter...Christian Bale's charactor knew that he could trust his "assistant" because the man was a carbon copy of himself and he cherished the "copies" life as if it was his own.
Sadly, his nemesis, portrayed by Hugh Jackman was too obsessed after the death of his wife at what he felt was at the hand of Christian Bale's charactor for not tying the ropes so she could get out of them, that he went to any and every length to try to reap revenge, at the cost of himself and his clones and his very soul (at the end he reveals he never is sure it he is the one that goes down the trap and drowns or comes out and is the Prestige).

I thought it was a brilliant movie that made you pay attention because the slightest distraction would throw you off. I like movies that make you think and wonder what could happen. I watched it because it was a Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan movie and I think they are awesome.

I thought that it was awesome. I'm glad you liked it. I don't know if you've seen the Illusionist, (the two movies practically came out at the same time) but that one was awesome too. Edward Norton was great in it!

I thought it was excellent. The casting was inspired and the plot so intricate... I knew something dodgy was happening, but I never saw that twist coming. Hugh and Christian were fantastic.

this was a good movie! its been awhile now since i saw it but i love Hugh Jackman in anything. very good story line easy to follow and great characters!

I really liked it. It had great:
-acting
-storyline
-turn of events
just about anything you can think of for a great movie was in there! It was fantastic.

Yeah it was very good, set and story, but why did christian bale have to try so hard to put on a daft accent, he really didn't have too.

it was really good i loved it! the twist was great at the end made the ending wonderful
