Do you think it's fair that all the illegal immigrants don't have to pay taxes?

It isn't merely the fact that they do not have to pay taxes that irks me and many other homegrown American citizens. They pay absolutely nothing in, do not learn our language, disgrace the country they so badly wanted to be a part of, by hanging the Mexican flag above the American flag that they've turned upside.
The absolute worst part of their ability to find loopholes in our system and maintain an easy life by acquiring food stamps and free medical care for their children........the fact that there are veterans and widows of veterans that can't afford their monthly medications. They are forced to pick between a little more food or that one last prescription. The people who served our country and fought to keep it free should by far supercede those who are here illegally and ungratefully.

I could rant for days about this but it's a lot energy to expend and I'm sure I could use it for something more constructive.

First of all, this country was built on laws and all laws should be enforce. All liberals want to do is pick the laws they agree with. Our federal immigration law says its breaking the law for them to be here illegally and in my opinion they shouldn't be rewarded with amnesty. Give me a list of country's that will give amnesty to 10-20 million illegal immigrants? Name me one country in the world that has a weaker immigration law and enforcement than the United States? Democrats care nothing for illegals it's only politics and a bigger voting block. Why didn't the democrats reform the tax code back when they had super majority's in both houses of congress? If they did GE would have paid taxes last year and every other company that cheated the taxpayers. GE is a big supporter of Obama and the democratic party.

What kind of question is that ? Why should they pay taxes when they shouldn't be here in the first place. Address the problem, don't make it a tax revenue issue. Employers who hire them should be paying the missed revenue from the jobs that were taken from legal American workers. As far as the illegals no jobs , no illegals !!! Therefore no taxes.

No but I think if you review the senate bill 1849 that Gordon Smith is working on you would see something that might deter illegals...Being done by employers. Employers need to be held responsible for hiring illegal aliens. Absolutely NOT. But, this isn't the first time our government has done this. At the end of the Viet Nam war, the Vietnamese were allowed to work in our country for 7 years before having to pay taxes.

This is silly.

Obviously the are illegal residents. So if they fill in a tax form, they can be found and kicked out of the country.

The simple fact is that illegal immigration is a major factor in the united states, and rather than whine like losers it would be better to learn to accommodate reality than stick your head in the sand.

And yet when we try to document them (so that we can tax them) it's considered giving them a "free ride," even if a large fee is involved to become documented. I'd rather see them pay taxes as well.

YES-- of course its fair. US employers pay them peanuts. Slave labor is alive and well in America. Tax the slave owners. Refuse to use businesses that use Mexicans as slaves. Are you listening Wal-Mart?
