Why is this in "Small Business?"

No, if the queen is not protected, the king can capture her.

I usually make sure the space the queen will occupy is protected by a bishop, rook, or knight. That generally effects checkmate, in many cases.

Yes, your King can "eat" (capture) the Queen. The only time the King would not be able to capture the Queen is if the space the Queen was on is protected by another piece.

Can the King be captured by another piece after it captures the Queen? If your answer is "yes," the King can't capture. Otherwise, "eat" away!!!

No. The King cannot eat the Queen in that instance. You must get your King out of check. If eating the Queen gets your King out of check then fine, you may eat the Queen.

The King can capture the Queen as long as that move does not put him in check.

Yep. He couldn't however, put your king in check with his king. But if he threatens your king with his queen, and his piece is not covered, you can relish in taking out his queen with your dinky king.

yes ,you can not do it only if it means taking the queen means you are moving into check or check mate if they don't have a back up they lose it

yes, unless your king would be moving onto a space which would put it in check with another piece.

uh.. shyah

that's a yes

EDIT for clarity's sake since you can't ask a simple question properly... the yes is to your second question. No to the first..

Now I understand why you needed to ask this in the first place
