urls are constantly deleted, and I only have the temporary internet files to look at, but I don't know how to access the actual places visited from those files. The addresses shown there are just a bunch of mumbo jumbo and not the actual site addresses. Can anyone help. I need to check these sites out as my husband has been caught lying and cheating and this is his last chance. He said he would prove to me he wasn't doing anything, yet all the history on our computer is erased, except for these cookies/which I don't know if they can even be accessed. I know I should just leave, but I want to believe he is changed-please help.

Just open the cookie files up with notepad. The url is listed inside the cookie normally on the 3rd line of the file. From there just cut and paster the url into either Firefox of InternetExplorer. You would then be able to look at the site the person was looking at.

Its not a virus its spyware. Do some scans with Spybot and Adaware to detect and remove it. Besure to update those programs after you install and before you run them. You do this usually with the built in Update feature
