You see, I hesitate to wear one because there seems to be a stigma attached to Speedos. I have a swimmers body, am in great shape, and that style of swim suit is most flattering to my body type -- much better than shorts, which make my legs look weird. My intention here would not be to show off, but rather, to look decent and feel comfortable .

I think it's just a cultural norm that men are to wear trunks rather than a speedo-type suit. I know there are plenty of European countries where the men are mostly all in speedos. I say that if you want to wear a speedo then go ahead and do it. You'll probably get a few odd looks, but you sound like a confident enough person to not worry about that too much. An alternative might be to find smaller/shorter trunks that you could be comfortable in while not going the whole speedo route.

If that works for you, go for it.

I wouldn't have the self-confidence to wear a speedo, even if I had a swimmer's body (which I don't).

If you're comfortable in it, who cares what anyone else thinks? Your attitude will shape the opinions of the women more than your speedo will.

No offense intended here, but to me, speedos look comical. I think the long shorts are way hotter on a guy. They look more masculine. I don't need or want to see his "bulges" unless it's six pack abs, in which case speedos will only detract from that.

Leave the speedos to the gays guys who might appreciate them more.

Some guys look good in speedos, and others just shouldn't consider it. If you think you look good in it and you feel most comfortable in them, go for it. You'll probably get lusty stares from some women. Haha!

Its not a big turn off if you can pull it off! If you have excessive body hair-dont do it-cause most women find that not attractive at all! But if you have the body for it, I say go for it! The big thing about them is when "not fit" "yucky" men try to do it!!

If you're not wearing them in competition swimming, than the point is to "show off" if your reason is shorts make your legs look weird. Very few of us think the "banana hammock" is an appealing look anyway. No one will be looking at how great your legs look.

females are lots greater powerful than adult males because of the fact they do no longer dedicate each and every of the crime and do each and every of the evil that so-stated as "adult males" do. Or might cowards be a greater powerful be conscious for all of the undesirable adult males? confident females dedicate crimes too yet no longer practically as in lots of cases as adult males. And what in the international ever befell to actual adult males? people who rescue and defend females particularly of abusing them like in straight forward terms cowards do?

Because speedos look like underwear. Girls don't want to see that on guys. Wear shorts.
