King George squelched free speech in the colonies.
We taught him some manners.

We tried that. Look what happened, a Revolution.
If we try to deny the Americans freedom of speech, they will just ignore any such law or rule and carry on as though nothing has happened.
Bad idea. Gotta think of something really really annoying to deny them, but what? I know, tea tax! Damn good idea, make em sit up and beg, don't yah know!

I think we should have freedom of speech, I'm getting tired of hearing the f-word or s-word bleep out on American television, it wasn't bleeped out on British and Canadian television, I know those are offensive words, I think the FCC has gone too far, censorship stinks. Period.

Are you still crying about us?????
What makes you so great over anyone else?
Cry me a river.
Obviously you are too good to live in this country.......so what's keeping you here?
No one is forcing you to stay. It's a free country, so leave any time you see fit.
Have a nice day

Same old Sid, same old questions. Maybe you need a vacation. You should take a week or two off, and come to America (you'll need a passport first, I doubt you have one.) Maybe after you actually see America you might come up with different questions, and stop boring us with the same old crap. Honestly Sid, I think your alright, you jokingly bash America, and allow us to jokingly bash England right back. But you need to come up with more original questions, or this will get boring fast. Good luck in America, and remember what I told you about checking for those Adams Apples.
Sincerely, your friends who earned their freedom of speech by kicking your kidney eating @sses back where you belong.

you have probably met a bad bunch or are in a poor area, the same with everywhere, would you say that about Bill Gates or someone equally as influential? everyone is entitled to free speech regardless of their heritage.

Is it just me or did pjlisa13's response make absolutely no sense whatsoever. Maybe they should receive free English lessons before getting freedom of speech.

One word for you as I like Englishmen as friends but you have to go home you have no wright taking anything for anyone in this country and the sooner you learn that the better you will be, to take or want to take a right from any one that is an American citizen is not a good way to be in this country so pack your bags and don't let the door hit you in the A##!!

Have you ever read the book "How to win friends and to influence people"?
You might be well advised to do so quickly.
But why are you so rude to your hosts?
