Its never too early if you want to make a start. Personally, I save all year through with a savings club, then I usually get my vouchers about October, but because I'm a bit soppy about Christmas, I don't start my shopping until the shops are all Christmassy! Sad, I know, but hey thats the big kid in me! As for food shopping, well I try to buy savings stamps in Tesco, but have fell behind a bit this year, will have to start getting a move on as its now August, and pricisely 20 weeks and 6 days to Christmas!!!!

No way!!!!!! Do you know how CRAZY its going to be starting November for Chrismtas shopping???? I was at Books A Million a few days ago and they already have some Christmas stuff on sale. Its NEVER to early to shop for Christmas gifts. Unless you enjoy the rush of course then you should wait til the last minute.

It's never too early. I usually start my Christmas shopping in September, before all the good stuff is taken.

I don't see why you can't start ordering special presents from catalogues now and if you see something in the shops you would like to get someone, get it now before or it may be gone.
There's nothing wrong with being prepared, it means you can relax whilst everyone is running round like maniacs as Christmas is drawing near.

Best time is when my wife starts, just after Christmas in the sales. She also buys up all the leftover wrapping paper at a cheap price at the same time.
All her Christmas shopping is now bought, wrapped & labbeled.

Hey any excuse to shop. Course I always find really good stuff for myself when I'm supposed to be shopping for others and nothing when I'm looking for myself so it would probably turn into just plain old shopping for me. lol
