as long they perform....they stay!!!! im tired of people thinking players in ALL sports should retire cause of their age....age is just a number....as long as the nation is winning. Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid should be there!

Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid should remain in the team as they play important roles at different situations. The main highlight of India's win over England at Nottingham was the major partnership between Sachin Tendulkar & Sourav Ganguly in the 1st innings besides opening stand.

I think that sachin, sourav and rahul should break for some time and give opportunities to the youngsters but this doesnt mean that they are not good players. They should understand the demand of time not just play to mint loads of money.

If they have to remain in the team, they have to score big and win matches for india .If they remain in the team and score those 30's and 40's,then its better off a youngster comes into the team and score those 30's and 40's.
These players are in last future of their career and they have to make off for all those losses in their career and ensure big series wins against top teams.

I cant believe how people forget VVS. He is a pretty good player in conditions where most Asian players shake in their boots. He is one of the very few who has an awesome record against Australia.
ITS THE BIG FOUR...NOT THE BIG THREE...And to answer the question, the four batsmen should rotate assisgnments between them so that they dont get fatigued. In my opinion, VVS deserves his ODI cap too.

Cricket is a game of luck and all the three cricketers have had their shares of fame and fortunes. It is long due for them to say adieu and be gracious to give others their chance.

At least the Board can think of a rotation policy to rest at least one of the seniors in every test.
