We are being victimised on here??

i've just had another 3 violations just now, it's no use replying to customer service as you always get the same answer back telling you to read the flaming guidlines which i've done 'til it's coming out my ears. Is there any way we can send a petiton to them to object to being vilolated by the stalker Westworld has me on his list. Surely they cant allow this to continue

I never make racist comments and stick within the guidelines as much as possible but there must be something that can be done with the like of that mad Westworld,Manoverboard and 9thGate is another of his aliases. That person is a psychopath and a very dangerous person with vile nasty threats and comments that he posts

I do agree that people are trolling the site and reporting for sometimes very minor deviations from the guidelines.

Lots of people are obviously abusing the report abuse button. This means they must be using that button for the sole reason of not sharing someone's opinion, which doesn't constitute an actual violation. Yahoo! Customer Care obviously is not reading the violation reports; they just delete the question/answer because they trust the person doing the report.

You can help to fight the false reports, joining the Anti_Nazi_Alliance, our group has two purposes:

1. Get Yahoo! to do something about the abusing the report abuse button problem. We need to bombard Yahoo! with complaints about Customer Care not reading the violation reports.

2. Hunt down the people reporting the questions/answers unfairly (a.k.a. Nazis) and informing Yahoo!

There are a couple rules in this group though, for your own safety:

1. This is not a group where you swear your head off.

2. We are not interested in adult content, so please avoid using that.

3. This group is n*not* for the people that truly violate the community guidelines. It is only for
the people that DO NOT really violate Yahoo! rules, but get reported anyway.

The first time I went on to mental health section I got one for posting a poem that I thought was helpful, it was seen as out of context and is a breech. In all honesty I have noticed this sec has the most flexibility and floundering of the rules and maybe that is it.
I think there should be a news category but also a current affairs that coveres just about anything. Perhaps they need to be separated since local or topical news to some may be alien to others.

I think there's some nut job working for yahoo customer service who dislikes the aviator pictures! before I had a aviator picture I never had a violation, now I've got a picture i'm getting 3 in 1 day! either that or they don't like the Scots!

Miss P is it not because the majority of your questions can be perceived as chatting? I told babyshambles last week there was a thread on the main forum about regulars who have been here since this site began and who were requesting the category back because they felt it had been hijacked by people turning it into a chat board. The main objection was that you canpost jokes and riddles and chatting questions in Polls and Surveys and that the News category was being made worthless. The staff highlighted the question to denote they had read it.
It's still there now if you plough through a few pages, and if you read the guidelines it's plain to see why some people are getting angry about it.

I've never had any reply from customer service.i have read the guidelines from start to finish and can't find any rule to justify the violations i got.i think they are trying to get rid of us.don't hear of any trolls or so forth getting them,just a selective few.

At this point in time I don't believe it's got much to do with your questions any more. Some of you have made enemy's on this msg board, this is a more down to earth answer.

Hi Miss P2 I am sorry to hear. I got three violations for three answers I gave yesterday even though I could see nothing wrong with them. I can't even put a name to my stalkers or trolls because I never know who they are. It must be something to do with the school holidays. By September we may not get very many when they are all back at school, but your right this should not continue.

If your posts aren't offensive and you get a violation that is so unfair, you should be allowed to appeal.

If these people are stalking you, go to your profile and add them to your blocked users list. At least then they wont have access to your Q/As or contacts through your profile. Might help.

I completely agree about Yahoo cust care though. They should at least give a reason for the violation, or say which of the guidelines has been broken.

Try posting a question about your violation on the violation appeals message board (see link). You might at least get some kind of explanation then.
