Think of the 'black plague', or the London fire of 1666, or the nazi's rising to power. In all of these cases, people were confused and panicky. In the plague, people would copulate on the streets thinking, 'well, Im going to die, I might as well get a climax'. In the fire, a lot of people looked for Jesus in the sky, as they were sure that the fire was the tribulation. And, the nazi's started a war; which the 'allies' decided would best be won by blowing to smithereens entire cities !!
I think we all should have some kind of emergency plan; but, we don't. For example, gas prices were at the lowest in some time, until yesterday, when a new record of oil per barrel was set ($78). I immediately filled the gas tanks in my 3 vehicles.
But, I would like to see a network of people who are a 'think tank' of what to do and how to cope with anarchy. We could make some plans and post stuff for people to read and follow, in their communities. Unfortunately, we in america, are like the nuts in the nuthouse; that is, we won't band together, with a common purpose and overthrow the dr's and nurses. *We'll want to ..once it's too late.

Okay most of these are good but you can't just board yourself in a room with some jerky and a gun and think you'll survive forever, you need to have a plan that lets you move around from area to area, eventually you might as well join the zombies, they're not just going to die and it be over. Screw all these ideas, I got guns and ammo, so i'll get some food and go to the mountains and survive for the rest of my life on the land, the end.

My survival plan if mass anarchy hits the USA is to sit back, pour myself another gin and tonic, and watch it all unfold on the mass news coverage there is bound to be.
You see - I live in the UK !

My idea is to go back to the basic principle of evolution: Survival of the fittest. You can call it "natural selection" but looking out for other people isn't what helped our ancestors become top of the food chain. "Civilized Behavior" only holds you back. People who insist on you behaving "civilized" usually already have everything they need and are only looking out for themselves.
