Yesterday I had terrible pains ... worse than pms cramps. I was suppose to ovulate yesterday...this moring the pain is almost completely gone. This is my second round of clomid...last month I did not have this pain. Has anyone had severe pain from clomid? And does it just mean that its working...because I'm not sure if I want to do this again next month...
Two days ago an ovualtion test was positive, so this happened during ovulation.

Clomid causes ovulation to occur and since this is your second month you have probably produced more eggs. Sometimes when the ovary is over stimulated, more than one egg is pushed out and this causes the pain. This can be dangerous and you should talk to your doctor before you take another cycle particularly if you like to exercise. You may need to have an ultrasound to be sure your ovary has not been over stimulated.

sometimes with clomid you can over stimulate your ovaries, if this is the case the doctor needs to know and you will have to skip a month and also rest.
