i go to kings dominion a couple times every year. flight of fear is still there its back in a corner and hard to find. valcano is open every once in a while it is closed down, it is one they do have periodic problems with. if it goes down we dont dispair cause there is so many others to ride. hyper sonic albeit a short ride is such a rush. they also opened a second wave pool this year so that has helped a great deal with the crowding in the pools. if you have any other questions about kings dominion or busch gardens williamsburg join my friends list and email me your questions

I haven't been there this year, but I can tell you this much from reading message boards on the net:

Volcano is still open (at least no one has said anything about it being closed, it's one of my favorite rides!!)

Flight of Fear WAS closed last summer for most of the summer. CBS was going to try to sell the ride, but never put it up on the market. When Cedar Fair bought the Paramount parks last summer, they reopened it knowing that was a favorite coaster of many people. As far as I know, it's still open this year.

I do know for a fact that Hypersonic is up for sale. Not sure if it's in operation, although I believe it is.

Rebel Yell underwent some repairs and upgrades this year, but I haven't heard of anything else wrong with them.

I will say this much though...the park has gone down over the last few years. It used to be a great park where you could spend all day and have a blast. Over the last few years, it's gone down to be a very dissapointing park. Hopefully Cedar Fair can turn that around over the next few years as they take over all of the Paramount parks around the country (and Canada).

King's Dominion is my favorite example of how not to run a theme park. I heard that they had a coaster up for sale, but not one of the ones you mentioned. I refuse to go there now, but a friend told me after going there this year that the Rebel Yell was in such disrepair that the nails were sticking up out of the wooden plank "floors" that lead up to the ride, and that the safety catch thing popped halfway through the ride. So, I wouldn't be surprised that Volcano's shut down. It was a pretty unimpressive ride anyway.
