How soon did your pants start to feel tight?

How much of a gap did you have between your first and second pregnancies?

I just found out I'm having my second :D

Thanks ahead of time for your answers!

I had my first (boy) last Christmas Eve and he is now a little over 7 months. My second (I just found out last night I am pregnant again) was unexpected, because I was on birth control, but I'm still excited :) I'm just not sure how having two kids so close together is going to work out though haha!

With my first (a girl) I was still wearing regular clothes up until my 6 month, but I had been really really sick up until that point (lost 20+ pounds). 6 months after having her I was pregnant again (I was in between BC, we were having touble finding a pill that didn't make me want to kill people :) That pregnancy wasn't as bad as my first. I figured it was b/c they were so close together that my body just kind of remembered from the last one. At about 5 months I had to wear maternity clothes (also a girl) but I was still carrying around a little weight from baby #1. Baby #3 is on it's way and I am wearing maternity pants in my 4th month. My hips got wider faster and zippers press on my bladder to much, but I am just now starting to show.

I imagined it would be harder than it actually was having two under two, but my oldest one was really excited to help and loved her little sister so much. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Good luck to you.

There is 14 months between my first two, and my pants got tight around 2-3 months along with #2. My youngest is 3 years old, and I am 19 weeks pregnant. With this one, I had to wea maternity clothes after about 8 weeks.

Good Luck, my two little girls play very well together since they are so close in age.

With my son, I was about 16 weeks before I had to buy bigger clothes (he was my first), no maternity wear until 24 weeks though.

My second was another matter!! I was in maternity gear by 12 -14 weeks with her, and I got HUGE!!

There are 5 years between the two of them.

I'm having a few pregnancy symptoms again now but I'm not sure, my baby daughter is only 9 weeks old!! I'll update and let you know, lol!!

*Mummy to Alex, 5, and Encarni, 2 months*

Congratulations!

I have three kids...they were born 21 and 22 months between them.

I did find that I bloated a bit more with #2 and #3 sooner...and was actually in maternity clothes at 3-4 months at work...and at about 6 weeks at home lol I dress for comfort lol

I have had friends who had their children 11 months apart...and they did real well with handling two.

I found that #2 was a lot easier than #1...been through a lot of it before and a little less worry...#3...well, considering I only have 2 hands lol but she was our 'surprise angel'...showed up about a year before we had planned...and I would not give anything to change that.

Congratulations again!

I have three kids.
With my last one - my pants started getting tighter around 12-14 weeks. I acutally lost weight with my third baby at first.
There is a 2 year and 9 month gap between #1 and #2. And a 4 1/2 year gap between #2 and #3.
Congrats!!!

Congratulations!!

I put on weight more quickly with my second with the first and found it harder to shift afterwards. I remember trying on my jeans a couple of weeks after my second was born and they laughed at me. "Hey, yeah, we are supposed to be stretch jeans but there is a limit you know." So, I didn't show until I was about five months with No. 1, but showed at about 3 and a half months with No. 2. Both boys, now aged 21 and 19. Their birthdays are just one day apart. (I also have a daughter aged 8 who was an unexpected blessing!)

Older boy was 9lb 3oz, younger 8lb 12oz. Daughter was just 5lb 14oz but she has a syndrome.

So what's your age gap? Are you worried about sibling rivalry? If you are, well, it's best to be prepared but don't just assume the older child will be jealous of the baby - my older son adored his little brother right from the start (still does, LOL!).

Hi Congrats on being pregnant again.

I have three children.

Growing and my clothes getting tight varied on each child. First around six months
Second around four months
Third around three months

My children got bigger in birth weight each time so i put it down to this...i have read no medical agreement to this...it's just what happened to me.

There is two years between all my children, two years to the day on my first two and two years an three months between the second and third. Hard work but great for them to grow together and worth it in the longrun.

Congratulations!

I had to start wearing drawstring or elastic waisted pants by 14 weeks.Luckily it was winter and I could get away with it. I started back into stretchy maternity pants by 18-20+ weeks. My children are 2 1/2 yrs apart so I fell pregnant when 1st one was 22mths and its good but they are squabbling all the time lately. (DD 5yrs DS 2.5 yrs now) I think its completely normal but drives me batty!
I want to try for another one now (well actually 6mths ago) but DH does not want another baby :( My girlfriends keep telling me I'm mad for wanting another baby but its really hard to stop the clock ticking!

Good Luck and break out those maternity clothes!
