It's the price you pay for having someone who believes in you.

What makes you so sure there aren't, look at it this way; If God is so immense that he created our world and galaxy in 7 days, what makes you think he did not create others as well. There is a ton of information out there that is pretty compelling that we are not alone. And leaving the man you love over something like this makes me wonder if you aren't the one that is bizarre. Just because he believes in aliens does not mean he does not love you, ar that he has changed, it is just a part of him. I am sure there are things about you that he is not comfortable with, but he probably is not thinking about leaving you over them.

He should leave you for being ignorant and coming to narrow-minded conclusions about something you probably have never even researched in the slightest !!!! Hello!!!! Have you ever read the statistical probability that life exists on other planets? NOOOOO.... It's obvious you haven't. Have you ever heard that over 2 million Americans claim to have been abducted in recent polls? Do you think these normal people find that easy to admit when there are know nothing know-it- alls out there quick to judgement and slow to think for themselves? You should leave your husband. He deserves someone better!!! Somebody who isn't afraid to examine the truth. I know a few people (good, hard working, square, respectable people) who have seen things that you won't even consider believing out of your own ignorance. YOUR LOSS!!! I suggest you educate yourself with all the stuff they won't teach you in Harvard business school and open your mind, and eyes. Rent Dan Ackroyds UFO's examined video. Look up THE PHEONIX LIGHTS. Get out of your box. Look to the sky. You are the kind of person that would have shunned Galileo for believing the world is round!!!!!

YES - send him to live with the idiot 'Lill holmes as the POLISH have just invaded his back garden and stolen the rubbish
Maybe you live next door and it is actually the POLISH he saw!!
Only kidding - why would you leave someone because they say that - it doesn't have a huge impact on your lives - you are still happy and there are much worse things he could do
Just read some replies on here!!

It depends I suppose.
Is he saying something along the lines of we're probably not the only planet out there with life on it? Have you ever seen the national geographic map of our known universe? That's one big @ss universe out there and I tend to agree with him.
Or is he saying, there are watching us break out the tin foil because their coming tonight? That might be a wee bit of a red flag.

Hi....first off...unless you have scientific proof in the fact that there are truely no aliens, I think it would be healthier for you and your husband if you just listen to his opinions and respect them..you don't have to believe in them, but you should have compassion for his beliefs....I'm sure you have some personal opinions that he may not necessarily agree with also.....you each should share your thoughts , keep them between you and don't battle over them....especially in front of other people....good luck

Possibly a bit harsh, but logically there must be other life on other planets, if there are billions of galaxies and in them billions of galaxies there billions of planets, the 'goldilocks effect' is present eleswhere other than just earth.
In fact I think your husband should leave you for not being logical. Tell him I said so

I think you need to find a better reason to leave a spouse. It would seem that building and modifying a belief structure is a good thing in a healthy person.

I bet he's asking the same thing.
"My wife believes the only life in the universe is on this tiny rock. Should I leave her for being a mindless prude? We are on all other accounts happy."

No thats terrible just because he has an open mind you want to leave him maybe there are bigger problems in your relationship than aliens if you want to leave him over something so silly
