once you are place on injured reserve, you are done for the season.

If you are hurt, but will be able to play again in a few days, they place you on PUP (physically unable to perform), at least until the season starts

No... Being placed on the IR list means you can't play for the rest of the season, no matter if you have recovered or not... You can say you are fine, you can get every doctor on the planet to say you are fine, it doesn't matter... IR means your season is over, but you still get paid... Players on injured reserve still count against the salary cap, so teams get no financial benefit from moving them to the IR list. From the team's perspective, players are placed on injured reserve solely in order to open a roster spot for a healthy player.

Once you are placed on injured Reserve, you're done for the year even if you are healthy. Too many players in the past have tried to rush back from injuries and hurt themselves further.

No, was you are placed on the IR you are done for the year. The only way I think you can play is if you reach an injury settlement the team release you and another team signs you.

No,they won't just Let you go out and start playing again because First off you have to Prove to the Coaches that you @re in fact caplable to play once again because I'm sure that they(Coaches) won't just go ahead and send you back in to play once again after you have been placed onto the injured list cuz that just Would Not be smart at all for anybody to do because if you were to go and get hurt even more/worse then you already were then it would be All their fault for sending you back in to play again and it could cost them their Job(s).

Some players when they get hurt they are placed on the 15-day DL which you can not play until the 15-days are up and sometimes if you still can not play they place you on the DL again.

If your placed on the DL then you are not allowed to play until your DL time is up. For example, if I pulled my quadricep and I was placed on the DL retroactive to July 30th then I would not be eligible to return until August 15th. There are also different amounts of time you can be placed on the DL and those are set according to the extent of the injury. Hope this helps !
