I wonder why Americans did not learn their lesson after the first World Trade explosion in 1993. I really belive that Americans are very gullible and too nice to see the evil around them.

(1) We need to close the borders to protect the citizens of this country.

(2) We need to prevent another 9-11-2001

Acts of terrorism against this country go back even farther than the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center. They go back to the car bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon. This was when Reagan was President. If you really go back you could consider the taking of the hostages in Iran as a terrorist act and that was under Carter. Radical Islam has been attacking us for that long. These attacks escalated under Clinton with the second attack of September 11, 2001 as a final wake-up call for the US. Before that attack all episodes were treated like crimes or like separate incidents. No one (apparently) connected the dots. Now our politicians want to just let all the illegals be here without finding out where they are or who they are. In my humble opinion we are just asking for another attack. The 9/11 attackers were here illegally and I am quite sure there are more here we just don't have a clue who they are or where they are. I love my country and the brave men and women who are defending her today. For the most part I wish all the current members of congress and the administration would all just go away and let us elect new representatives who actually understand the current world situation.

Very good. And you have hit on an important issue. Most did not nor do they now realize the extent of what happened. When the first occurred (under Clinton) the sent police to investigate as if it where a crime. What people do not understand is this is a war. A war that started in the 6th century. What these people want, they list on their web pages. They tell in their chat rooms. But most listen to the news, CNN, ABC etc. And we only hear what they want to tell us. Islam demands, requires a "push” A caliphate to "convert " all non-believers to Islam. This started in the 6th century, covered most of the Middle East, Saudi, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, all of these nations. They are what was once the Ottoman Empire. It died at the end of the First World War, and was crushed at the end of the 2nd world war. But it is back. Stronger than ever. With the most deadly weapon you can have, people who WANT to die, for this. You can not reason, it is like reasoning with a zombie, they will not listen, Only accomplishing their task is important. We will be hit, again and again. The UK will fall, with France, and most of the EU. Its quite simple, they tell you how they will do it, one site say this. " When we relocate to a part of the city, it is forbidden to integrate. We must buy out the shops and markets to sell only acceptable food. We must push into the school systems until we are a majority, then we can demand Shari Law, under the laws of Freedom of religions. Once we have one area, we can expand. By electing our people to office we will change the laws one by one, to meet our needs."

This is happing all over, it is even happening here, San Diego, now has Muslim prayers in public schools, In NJ the same is occurring. We will either make a stand or we will fall.

Our government knows this, they are terrified to let the public know this, how do you fight an enemy that you cant see, that you do not know who they are?

I don't think we are too nice to see the evil around us, check the news, we see it every day. The only thing I agree with you about is closing the borders, but we know that no politician will want to work with another to get that problem solved.

Because God forbid we offend somebody or some race by not allowing them into the US of A. We brought this on ourselves! We even trained the terrorists to fly the planes because we couldn't discriminate against them....crying shame!

I do agree, we need tighter security at the borders!

I am sorry but no one could have predicted 9/11
We could have had all the warnings in the world(which we did)
and no one could have thought that would have happened
Terrorists have been in the US for years.......way before 1993
Evil exosts-it has nothing to do with being nice.
A terrorist didn't do the Oklahoma bombing-that is straight evil.
It has nothing to do with a lesson and personally I am quite sick of those WHO DIDN'T SEE IT or know people that were killed saying stuff like this....

Do you really want to live like the Soviets during the Cold War? Do you really want to change America to the point where the Statue of Liberty means nothing?

It's not gullible to want to preserve the values of our forefathers, its brave. Freedom isn't free - you have to be willing to take risks for freedom.

If you lock up, close the doors, bar the windows, that doesn't mean the terrorists won't get in. They'll always be able to find a way. And when you close our society, you will be telling them they win. We're afraid and you've made us give up our free society for fear and isolationism.

Everything that makes America great goes away when we give in to fear and its a slap at the wonderful men and women who have died in Iraq to do this.

Just my opinion, but I refuse to give up my American ideals to hide from terrorists - and yes, it is worth my life.

I agree. It's unfortunate how stupid this country really is. America spent its time fixing the issues of every other country, but failed to recognize its own faults in order to make improvements. Look where that got us. The whole thing makes me disgusted.

"Too nice"? According to the timetable of events in the book "Hidden Agenda-US/NATO in the Balkans", the US/NATO carried out a Jihad as early as in 1994, and that time it was against moderate Muslims who rebelled against Ali Izetbegovic's fundamentalist Islamic regime in Bosnia. So come on, nice people use deodorant and don't vote for Hitlery Clinton. And If the US wants to close its own borders, it should first withdraw to its own borders (of before the Texas annexation), withdraw its troops from other countries, withdraw support to the injustice institution in the Hague (ICTY) and quit the UN.

Your totally right, they should be more cautious who they let into the country! I never knew there was one in 1993! I cant believe they would let it happen twice... unless last time wasn't a terrorist attack?
