Honesty is important, but TRUST is the most important thing. Someone could be honest all day long, but if they are being honest about being an a$$hole, then what difference does it make? Forgiveness is purely subjective. In other words, what you consider forgivable, someone else may not.

in my marriage honesty is of the utmost importance. We are after all these years completely honest and secure with that. When it comes to friendships I can hold a grudge for a lifetime, so depending on the situation, I may never forgive

Honesty is tantamount to friendship. No honesty, no friendship. forgiveness for being "wronged" depends on the offence, regardless if the person owns up to it or not.

Yes, I would forgive someone who wronged me,if they were honest with me about what they did and why they did it.

I would rather find out the truth from them and not someone else!* Honesty is actually a very important factor in any relationship I think because lies between each other can't build up any trust!*

It values a lot to me. Because how can you still love that person if you know that person is not honest to you or you do not trust the person.Honesty really matters to me.

I'd forgive but never forget the wrongs that were done.If the 'wrong' was major I'd be wise to forget forgiving coz that's how we do it where am from.

No. White lies are OK with me, but if someone seriously wronged me I wouldn't care if they were honest about it. If it were that easy, we could all do whatever we wanted to do!
