The chance to really make a difference.
We're in an important part of history right now. It's a very exciting time to be alive! Currently, we are facing a time where crucial decisions must be made - to save our environment, to save humanity, and to save ourselves. Whether or not you believe in global warming (or whether it is human-caused or not), it is a fact that water will be scarce in the future. It is a fact that we are running out of fossil fuels. We must come up with new ideas - or face extinction.
It is this generation that will be the new pioneers. The ones who were willing to try something our grandparents never even dreamed of!

However, they can take pride in laziness since there is a Check Spelling option available before previewing and posting an answer. Since so many answers appear with crappy spelling, the conclusion can be reached that "kids today" can be proud of being too lazy to check their spelling on Yahoo! Answers.
