Yes, I've met a few women that have had wonderful results with using accupuncture to help their pain. Some of them have also been using an alternative treatment program called Traditional Chinese Medicine that they have found to be successful.

I found that acupuncture did help for awhile... until the endo grew back too much. But shortly after surgery, yes, it helped for about a year.

Not that you asked, but if I'd just come off of surgery to take the endo implants out, I'd prevent myself from having periods (thus creating more endo, because it does come back :( Anyhow, maybe talk with your Dr about going on continuous low-dose birth control pills until you're ready to conceive (if ever). No periods, no more new endo. And the accupunture can help with residual pain.

If your pain is really really like endo really bad, maybe the doc missed some? I grew mine, amongst other places, throughout my bowel -- so it had to be inched its way thru to check all the spots.

I wish you the best of luck and painfree days & nights soon,
Regina

No, it doesn't. Unfortunately the only thing that makes it go away is surgery, they laser it out, and even then it can grow back. I had it done 10 years ago and the difference was amazing. The surgery was through the belly button so there is no scaring.

Acupuncture is good for pain relief, it doesn't cure. It's said to be effective in 60-70% cases.
