The only way to stop it is to take the pill by taking just the hormone pills for one cycle. I would recommend talking to your doctor about this, especially since having your period makes you feel so sad to see if they can help you figure out what could be going on.

I don't think there is anything you can take to just stop it... I do know if you are on birth control and skip over the sugar pills right onto the next week of estrogen pills, you will skip your period all together. The only reason you take pills the 4th week at all (the week of your period) is to keep you in the habit of taking a pill at the same time everyday... But you can successfully skip your period without ruining your body...

Yeah there is a tablet called Primoult that you have to take three a day three days before and the whole time you are away. It completly stopped mine for the whole month of july but my aunt had hers for a day. The bad thing about them is that you can be in complete agony after until your period is over!! :(

you could ask your GP for some norethisterone tablets to delay your period whilst you are on holiday. It is a short term solution for things like that.

You are probably not absorbing the iron from your medication. It may be time to have iron injections for 6 months
