I am trying to sync my nokia 6111 with my computer it is windows xp nd all and my phone has infrared and my computer says it does but where is its point where i can sync it?

i doubt your pc has an ir port and device manager doesnt mean you have it
ir ports are only on the most expensive motherboards (250£ up)

All PCs are not equipped with Infrared ports but some laptops do. In order to get the connectivity through IR you need to purchase a infrared unit for your PC which is low in price. Install the software which comes with IR unit and everything will go fine.

You can usually see infra red eye - its a small red lens about the same size as the input for headphone jacks!

most computers don't have infra red on them they only have a blue tooth connection even when you booklet says you have one dose not mean it has
