If I had 1GB system ram, and installed this video card with turbocache, will it steal system ram while i'm doing regular things on my pc like browsing or viewing videos? It has 128mb DDR2 ram on board. Will I still see1GB of system ram when I go into windows control panel under system when i check how much system ram i have? Or will some of my ram be missing? Or does it only use system ram when it needs it? I really want to keep my system ram untouched while not gaming.

TurboCache will share w/ system RAM when running 3D applications like games. Office apps are mostly 2D.

It will use the additional ram (above it's onboard 128MB) when necessary. Any graphical function it needs to perform (from gaming, playing DVDs, showing multiple windows on your screen, screensavers) will prompt your graphics card to check whether it needs to access your 1GB of system RAM.

However, you'll only notice a significant problem while running games as this sort of software requires large amounts of system RAM as well as a large amount of graphics RAM and your computer will be hammering your available RAM using this graphics card.
